Robin has been painting pet portraits since 2007. Many of her clients have told her they feel she's been able to capture "the soul" of their pets on canvas. Robin works exclusively in oils, and sometimes employs the use of extra texture for interest. Her style can vary widely depending on the taste and preference of the client.
Drawing since the age of four, Robin began oil painting in college in 1976. She first studied painting with Hollis Holbrook, who was a professor at the University of Florida and was regularly featured in Art in America. From there Robin went on to Ringling School of Art, graduating with a BFA in 1981.
She went on to become an art director from 1982-2005. In 2006 Robin returned to her roots as a painter and from 2009-2012, she studied with artist Barry Gross, whose work is reminiscent of the old Renaissance masters. Robin's fine art continues to be collected by prominent South Florida art aficionados and she is currently shows with various galleries in Delray Beach and Boca Raton, FL.
